Any given week you may find yourself doing some or all of the following:

  • Supporting your CEO at a board meeting or sales presentation
  • Negotiating with vendors, employees and candidates, your co-founders, or the office landlord
  • Rapidly becoming an expert in an entirely new domain - mobile, AI, growth marketing, sales, cybersecurity
  • Hiring, firing, and all things people-related
  • Fixing the office WiFi

This is where I can be most helpful. I specialize in coaching technical leaders like you, helping you navigate the unique complexities of leading engineering teams, aligning technical strategy with business goals, and fostering growth—for your organization and yourself. Together, we’ll sharpen your leadership skills, tackle your toughest challenges, and unlock your full potential as a technical visionary.

How I Can Help

Thinking like a business leader. As a technical leader, you can no longer think of yourself as just an engineer.

Co-founder & Executive Relationships - how to understand the needs of your partners and balance their expectations with what you need to do to deliver

Hiring & recruiting practices - whether hiring your first engineer or your hundredth, I can help you develop sound hiring practices that get things going.

Organizational Code - what is the right amount of process and when? How do you decide when to change a process

Vendor management - how to decide when you need outside help, build vs. buy, when to hire (and when to fire) consultants

Negotiating - with employees, your vendors, and others
